Axon Voyager

The Axon Voyager is the future of mobile training. It focuses on two core principles; versatility and flexibility. Crafted specifically with first responders in mind, it was designed to be a high-quality mobile training and development space, on-demand.

This project was initiated by our CEO and Founder, Rick Smith. As Senior Art Director, I led our internal team on design, process and execution of three 53-foot mobile training trailers. We worked with our internal product designer and an out of house fabricator to bring Rick's vision and dream to life. Up against an aggressive timeline, we worked collaboratively and created a truly memorable and impactful design asset and traveling billboard for the Axon brand.

First, we started exploring a futuristic yet simple NASA inspired design direction. We further explored how to create a design that was ownable by Axon. The designs had to live beyond the trailer and venture into social, swag, print and on-site event executions. The first year was meant to be a trial basis. “Let’s put three trailers on the road and see how they do”. Thus, The Axon Roadshow was born. A highly successful, highly memorable customer experience. The ROI was significant, expanding business pipeline and delighting our current and prospective customers. The Axon Voyager and Axon Roadshow has become a brand vehicle that continues to grow Axon’s presence and business.
