British Virgin Islands

Magical.

We spent months anticipating this sailing trip—dreaming, planning and preparing. But it wasn't until the sails were up and we were cruising through sapphire blue water that we realized what a true privilege it was to be sailing in the British Virgin Islands in the company of dear friends.

It was actually happening! On our third day, we took the dingy ashore and plopped on the sand of an island only accessible by boat, basking in the warmth of the sun. We were in awe of our surroundings and couldn't believe we were standing on an island with no cars or roads; just a dock and some mooring balls. We spent the week snorkeling, lathering on sunscreen, eating embarrassing amounts of chips and salsa and admiring paradise.

’Tis a privilege indeed.
