Bobby Brown The Ways Brand Design

 

Bobby Brown and his Bob Culture team approached us needing help with branding a new film project. He wanted to reach a new demographic with his film.

The concept was to tell the story of his skiing injury leading up to the 2018 Winter Games in South Korea and journey to getting back on his skis. The film also needed to communicate the transition away from ski competitions and to creating his own way in the skiing world.

We explored bold and confident logotype options across digital and print assets. Ultimately, we landed on a split custom logotype to weave both stories of injury recovery and finding a new place in the skiing world together. This custom branding and logotype reveal how his two stories triumph in unity. We created the color palette based on what inspires Bobby most—nature. We also incorporated hand drawn inspired illustration elements because Bobby is also an artist and incorporates a lot of his own drawings into his brand. Overall the The Ways brand we created will proudly move his film forward across all touch-points with great confidence.
